WE ARE

NXT Art Foundation is a charitable division of NOW Art that positions transformative and progressive public art projects each year.

Our Mission

NXT Art Foundation exists to awaken imagination in public space. We unite artists, technology, and communities to create art that inspires wonder, fosters dialogue, and redefines how we experience our shared environments.

NXT Art creates radical acts of urban transformation, cultural access, and artistic expression with each public art installation.

Goal 1: To produce an intercultural platform that expands community engagement, positioning public audiences throughout Los Angeles to participate in a unique urban experience that prioritizes inclusivity, authenticity, and cultural exchange.

Goal 2: To frame Los Angeles as a global leader by featuring cutting-edge interdisciplinary approaches for creative expression, providing a model for large-scale publicly accessible implementation, and to develop an interconnected path into neighborhoods and communities throughout the county.

Goal 3: To harness the creative power of art and the vision of artists in producing dynamic works that promote empathetic understanding, using research as a catalyst to share innovations, tell stories, and deepen our connection to one another and the world around us.

Goal 4: Develop a collaborative model anchored by technology and innovation to test new materials, research advancements, and developments in areas such as sustainability to creatively express and share leading research and discoveries.
