LUMINEX Lights Up Downtown

Dialogues of Light transformed five blocks of Downtown L.A. into a nighttime gallery of digital projections. The one-night event showcased large-scale public art by celebrated artists, lighting up South Park with immersive, site-specific installations.

Time Out’s Best of 2021

NOW Art’s stunning LUMINEX installation took Best Public Artwork in Time Out L.A.’s 2021 awards. Their one-night digital art takeover turned Downtown buildings into glowing canvases, spotlighting the power of public art and community engagement.

Pop-up Digital Forest

Welcome to The Wild! At last, something to do on Saturday night that doesn’t involve Netflix. For just one night, a forest will appear in downtown Los Angeles, part of an outdoor digital light show called “Luminex: Dialogues of Light.”

Free Art Weekend Event

LUMINEX 3.0, a one-night-only outdoor digital art exhibition in South Park, will feature 10 artists — including Refik Anadol, Nancy Baker Cahill and Jojo Abot — whose works will be projected onto city buildings.

LUMINEX Site-Specific Revival

LUMINEX will return with large-scale digital works projected on buildings throughout a five-block stretch of Downtown Los Angeles. This year’s lineup features ten artists presenting site-specific video, animation, and augmented reality works.

The remodeled Hanson Walmart Supercenter is now open and officials say the store features a number of improvements including expanded departments, new signage, new fixtures, LED lighting, new flooring, and more self-checkout registers.

Lumberton Walmart Unveils Remodel

The Lumberton Walmart held a grand reopening on Friday for the store’s remodel, which includes new paint, LED lighting, updated signage, expanded shopping options, self-checkout registers and a refreshed interior layout for better flow.

A mural celebrating the Elk River community, painted by artist Rock Martinez, decorates the front of the store. His design was inspired by the local landscape and selected in partnership with Walmart and NOW Art.
